Danny turned professional in 2008 after an outstanding amateur career which included numerous victories on both sides of the Atlantic, International honours for England, a Walker Cup appearance and the stature of being ranked the number 1 amateur in the world.

After successfully negotiating the European Tour Qualifying School on his first attempt, Danny’s debut season saw him finish 58^th on the 2009 Race to Dubai thanks to 8 top ten finishes.

Danny built on his previous years success in 2010 by finishing 23^rd on the Race to Dubai. Highlights included 5^th place at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and a 2^nd place finish in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. With a 3^rd place in the Austrian Open and another 4 top 10 finishes Danny went on to win over €1 000 000 in prize money.
